Between 1903 to 1907, Augustus Jansson began a seven-year working period for Queen City Publishing. During this time, he created many bold full-page layouts, including the renowned Ink Beasts Parade—home to unforgettable characters like the orange-yellow Ibexiatucus and the Magenta Ponies. He also produced a charming series of doll-like figures for Queen City. These advertisements were striking, often considered ahead of their time, and carry a distinctive art deco feel.
