The Mystery of the London Stump, Design No. 18

London Stump, also known as Watkins Folly, was a proposed tower in London from 1892. The project aimed to build a towering landmark for the city and serve as Britain’s answer to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. However, the project was never completed and remains a lost piece of London’s history. Despite its abandonment, the London Stump still fascinates people with its unique design and serves as a reminder of the city’s rich and diverse architectural past.
