Moriz Jung, an Austrian painter and graphic artist, was a talented member of the Vienna Workshop (Wiener Werkstätte). He honed his skills at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna, where he produced a series of stunning living room prints in the form of color woodcuts for a cabaret poster and program book. Tragically, Jung’s promising career was cut short when he was wounded in Galicia during the war. Despite a brief recovery, he returned to the front lines and fell in the Carpathian Mountains, bringing his artistic journey to an early end.
